The Lotus Elise of #IamLotusElise
Elisa Artioli is the baby who enchanted the Frankfurt Motorshow in 1995. Two and a half years old, she was sitting on the driver seat when the cover revealed the very first Lotus Elise.
Getting to know the lady which gave the name to such a sportscar icon it is something special, for the truly romantic automotive fans.
When her grandfather Romano Artioli has sold the lotus, he thought of keeping a silver Elise S1 for Elisa. Nowadays, she has driven it for over 50.000km. That’s her only, beloved, car and they are often participating together to Lotus car meetings worldwide.
Elisa is also a truly hearted lady and before realising an unique AD MACHINAM of her car, she offered a chance of driving the silver Elise on the mountain passes surrounding Bolzano, her hometown.
It does not happen commonly to drive a radical sports car such as the Lotus Elise S1. But it happens even less often to drive that car, owned by the lady which gave it its name!
What a thrilling experience, absorbed in the beauty of Italy with such a radical, direct and fun machine!
Thank you #iamlotuselise
